PROPRIETARY CAPABILITY

Leadership Risk
Intelligence

HTM's proprietary diagnostic platform translates leadership wellbeing data into executive-grade risk intelligence — providing early warning of organisational risk before it manifests as programme failure, leadership departure, or cultural breakdown.

LRRD — AVAILABLE NOW

Leadership Risk & Resilience Diagnostic

The LRRD translates a participant's survey responses into an executive-grade risk and resilience profile — a picture of an individual's wellbeing pressures and the organisational risks they imply. It is grounded in Self-Determination Theory (SDT), structured across three domains: Autonomy, Competence, and Relatedness, each containing multiple sub-domains measuring distinct aspects of leadership sustainability.

LEWRI — IN DEVELOPMENT

Leadership Early Warning Risk Index

The LEWRI will extend the LRRD's individual-level insight to the programme level — aggregating leadership risk signals across a delivery team into a single, governance-ready index for assessing major programme delivery risk. The LEWRI is currently in design, with its construct architecture informed directly by the validated sub-domains of the LRRD.

THE LRRD IN DETAIL

How the diagnostic works

Survey-based self-report

Participants complete a structured survey instrument — validated for psychometric integrity and calibrated for cultural context. Responses are scored across Autonomy, Competence, and Relatedness sub-domains.

Profile generation

Survey responses are translated into an executive-grade risk and resilience profile — mapping the pattern of wellbeing pressures, identifying early warning signals, and quantifying organisational risk implications.

Risk and intervention report

The LRRD report provides a clear, actionable narrative — presenting domain-level risk ratings, sub-domain insights, and targeted recommendations for intervention, coaching, or governance response.

THEORETICAL FOUNDATION

Grounded in Self-Determination Theory

Autonomy

The degree to which a leader experiences ownership and volition over their work — including sub-domains covering decision latitude, values alignment, workload agency, energy and recovery sustainability, and boundary management.

Competence

The degree to which a leader feels effective and capable — covering sub-domains including role clarity, strategic alignment, feedback quality, adaptive capacity and change absorption, and AI-era decision complexity.

Relatedness

The degree to which a leader feels genuinely connected — covering sub-domains including psychological safety, social support quality, team cohesion, and the ability to seek help without stigma in both professional and personal contexts.

PSYCHOMETRIC STANDARDS

Rigour as a non-negotiable

The LRRD is designed to meet professional-grade psychometric standards: validated response direction, construct validity across sub-domains, culturally calibrated interpretive frameworks, and ethical reporting practices that include clear professional support signposting. Normative benchmarking is provided only where adequate reference samples support it.

ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITY

Self-report with appropriate boundaries

The LRRD is a self-report instrument, not a clinical diagnostic. Its reports are framed accordingly — providing risk signals and resilience insights rather than clinical attributions, and including clear signposting to professional support where indicated.
